The Candidate Specification
We’re looking for a Bosun with Yachtmaster and B1/B2 in hand for a private and charter motor yacht, this is a great opportunity to join a great team. The yacht is crossing to Miami at the end of September and likely to be there until february. The program is busy and fast-moving, with 24-hour turnarounds and frequent last-minute changes – the vessel typically runs 4-5 charters over summer and 3 over winter, and picking up charters at short notice is completely normal for them.
On deck, the structure is Chief Officer, Second Officer, Bosun and two Deckhands. We need someone who already holds their Yachtmaster and who is genuinely hands-on and confident leading on deck. The programme offers lots of guest interaction, watersports and ops. Given how often the program shifts at short notice, the right candidate needs to be flexible, level-headed under pressure, and to workk well in a team.
Culturally, this is an active, health-conscious crew who are into golf, padel and cycling rather than a big party scene
