Job Title: Deckhand
The Yacht
The Candidate Specification
We are looking for a Deckhand to join the deck team on a dual season busy charter yacht, ideally starting on 6th October or between the 15th and 17th. This role is perfect for someone with stamina who wants to earn INCREDIBLE TIPS and build sea time.
Ideally you will already have your YM in hand and hold a minimum of 1 to 2 years of yachting experience. Some charter experience is preferred but not essential. What matters most is that you have worked on a busy program before, as someone from a slower yacht may struggle with the pace. Extra skills are highly advantageous, such as videography, personal training or sports and watersports, which add real value to the guest experience.
You should be confident holding a conversation with guests, with an upbeat, positive energy and a genuine enjoyment of getting involved. The deck team works a 5:1 rotation, so you will need the fitness and stamina to keep up. After a short shipyard period, the yacht heads to the Caribbean from 4 November, where 4 charters are already booked.
