Job Title: Deckhand
The Yacht
The Candidate Specification
We are looking for a Deckhand to join a busy 100m+ private yacht from 1st September.
This yacht is part of a fleet and offers a professional working environment with a friendly, family-style crew culture. We are ideally looking for candidates with at least one year of experience on a 60m+ yacht, however, motivated candidates with less experience will also be considered if they demonstrate the right attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of deck operations, including tender driving, exterior maintenance, mooring operations, guest interaction, water sports and general deck upkeep. Candidates should be professional, adaptable and work well as part of a team.
Applicants must have a professional appearance, be non-smokers, and have no visible tattoos. A Navigational Watch Rating and Seaman’s Discharge Book are preferred but not essential.
