      The Candidate Specification
We are recruiting for a Deckhand / Kitesurf Instructor to join a busy private and charter yacht operating a dual-season programme. This is a watersports-focused role suited to someone who is active, hands-on and genuinely enjoys getting involved with the yacht’s extensive toy programme.

Strong kitesurfing ability is essential. An IKO qualification would be ideal but is not required for a candidate who can demonstrate a high level of confidence and experience on the water. Candidates are encouraged to include photos or videos of their kitesurfing experience with their application.

The yacht has an extensive selection of watersports equipment including jet skis, dive gear, wake surf, wakeboards, kayaks and slides. Additional watersports skills would therefore be highly beneficial. Confident tender driving is also important, with previous night tender driving experience considered a strong advantage.

You will work closely with an experienced Bosun who has a strong kitesurfing background. The programme offers good opportunities for progression, alongside a training allowance and a 13-month bonus.

A B1/B2 visa must already be in hand due to the yacht’s upcoming US-based programme.

      • Required experience: Strong kitesurfing experience; previous Deckhand and watersports experience preferred
      • Qualification: IKO desirable but not essential
      • Required Visa: B1/B2 essential
      • Due to Cabin arrangement: To be confirmed
