The Candidate Specification
We are looking for a bubbly, creative Head of House to lead the interior on a busy charter yacht, ideally starting on 6th October. You may already be a Head of House, or you may be an experienced Senior Stew looking to step up. Either way, the most important quality is creativity. The current Head of House goes out of her way to make guests and crew feel appreciated, from newspapers put together in a fun way to custom playing cards for the family, towel origami and celebrations for every crew birthday. The guests and crew are very open to new ideas, so we want someone who thinks outside the box and brings that same thoughtful, personal touch to the role. INCREDIBLE TIPS!!!
Your attention to detail will set the tone for the whole interior, and you will lead the team with warmth and energy while keeping standards high at pace.
The yacht runs a very busy charter program,she heads to the Caribbean at the beginning of November, where 4 charters are already booked. It is fast-paced, so you will need stamina and a strong work ethic to keep up. Experience on a busy private or charter yacht is strongly preferred, as someone from a slower program may struggle with the pace.
The captain interviews every candidate himself and places a high value on longevity. He is not looking for a CV with several yachts in one year, so we would love to hear from someone seeking a long-term home.
