The Candidate Specification
We are recruiting for an experienced Deckhand to join a 90M+ private and charter yacht with an exciting programme and strong crew longevity onboard.
 
The successful candidate should have at least two years of yacht experience, ideally including time onboard vessels of 60M+. A Yachtmaster qualification would be advantageous, and additional skills in carpentry, videography or as a watersports instructor would also be highly beneficial. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to get involved as part of a professional and hardworking deck team.
 
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for genuine progression and longevity. Several crew members have been onboard for four to six years, and the yacht has a strong track record of retaining its crew and providing opportunities to develop within the programme.
 
The yacht is currently in the South of France before heading to Barcelona for a shipyard period, followed by Christmas in the Canary Islands with the owner. The programme will then head north to Scotland and Norway, including a six-week charter from Norway back to Barcelona. The yacht typically completes around six to eight weeks of charter during the Mediterranean season and has previously travelled as far as Asia with the owner.

• Required experience: Minimum 2 years’ yacht experience, ideally with experience on 60M+ vessels
• Qualification: Yachtmaster advantageous; STCW, ENG1
• Required Visa: Schengen Visa (if applicable)
• Due to Cabin arrangements: TBC
