The Yacht

• Programme: Dual season
• Charter: Approx. 7 weeks per year

The Candidate Specification
We are looking for an experienced 2nd Engineer to join a well-run private and charter superyacht operating on a dual-season programme. You will work closely with the Chief Engineer, so strong technical knowledge and the ability to support the day-to-day engineering operation are essential.
 
Y3 is required, although a strong Y4 candidate looking to step up will be considered if they have sufficient experience and technical knowledge to work effectively alongside the Chief Engineer. The successful candidate must hold a valid Schengen visa prior to joining. B1/B2 visa assistance is available for the right candidate.
 
The position is offered on a 2:2 rotation with a single cabin, although occasional cabin sharing may be required. Charter tips are shared among the crew. There is no immediate urgency to fill the position, with the yacht looking for someone to join within the next couple of months and fit into the existing rotation.
 

• Required Experience: Strong yacht engineering experience, strong technical knowledge, experience working closely with a Chief Engineer
