Job Title: Chief Officer

The Candidate Specification
We are recruiting a hands-on Chief Officer to join a busy 50M private and charter yacht. We’re looking for someone with a genuine passion for watersports who loves staying active and spending time on the water.
This is a practical, deck-focused position with minimal bridge time and would suit someone who enjoys being actively involved in day-to-day deck operations.
The yacht operates a fully ECDIS, paperless system and has a very hands-on culture throughout the team. The Captain regularly gets involved with deck duties, so we are looking for someone with the same approach who is comfortable working alongside the crew rather than being primarily bridge-focused.
We are open to an existing Chief Officer looking to step up from a 30-40M yacht into a larger programme, as well as an experienced Bosun who is ready to progress into their first Chief Officer position. The successful candidate should be confident leading the deck team while remaining actively involved in operations.
The position offers 60 days leave and would suit someone looking for progression within an active private and charter programme.
